Lesson 1: Introduction

Increment 1: Session 1.
If you do not remember how to start Quantum, review Running Quantum once more, then come back here.  Start Quantum and reproduce what you see in the Quantum session below.



Integer's, Float's, and Ratio's are Number's.  Symbol's, Number's, and String's are Atom's.  Expressions (fn x_1 ...  x_n) are Expr's.  Expr's evaluate as Quantum function calls.  Function calls can return Expr's.  For example, (* 1.7 (^ x 2) (^ y 2)) is an Expr.  Expressions [x_1 ...  x_n] are Vector's.  Expressions #[[...  ...]] are Matrix's.  You can use the special function Setq to assign values to Symbol's.Next
